MIGRATION IN SERENGETI
The Great Wildebeest Migration is the largest animal migration in the world. We live here. We know where the animals will be at the time of your visit. We will get you close to the action
Witnessing a river crossing of the great wildebeest migration is a heart pounding experience. The path of the migration takes the herds across the Grumeti River in the Serengeti and then the Mara River in the Maasai Mara. The herds concentrate into a dense pack of many thousands of animals, plunging through the deep water, with crocodiles lying in wait for the weak and unwary. The major river crossings take place in July (Grumeti) and in September (Mara).
